Upgrading Subscriptions

Individual subscriptions can be edited in real time by a wallet holding a COP. Cicleo's hard-coded design protects subscribers from any malicious price adjustments. This means that any changes made to the subscription price must be approved by the subscriber before any fund withdrawals are made to their wallet.

For example, if a subscription price is increased by the project or business that created the Subscription Manager, the subscribers must re-approve the new subscription amount before any fund withdrawals are made to their wallet. This process ensures that subscribers are fully aware of any changes made to their subscriptions and have the opportunity to decide whether or not they wish to continue their subscription at the new price.

Before making any changes to a subscription price, we highly recommend that projects or businesses provide sufficient time and information to their customer base. This helps to maintain the trust between the project or business and its user base and minimizes the risk of losing subscribers due to unwarranted changes to fee structures.
